Xmas 🎄Pyjama Bottoms Sewing Workshop
This workshop is the perfect way to build confidence at the sewing machine while making something practical and comfy to wear.
You should already have some basic sewing knowledge like threading a machine, winding a bobbin, sew in straight lines and have completed some smaller sewing projects.
In the class you will learn how to sew with cotton jersey fabric, make french seams, sew with an overlocker, insert pockets and make an elastic waistband.
All materials are included (Cotton jersey fabric, threads 🧵,elastic)
The sewing pattern is not included in the price and has to be purchased separately.
We suggest the Sew Liberated Nocturne Pajamas pattern!

Beanie Hat and Wrist Warmers Knitting Workshop
Join us for two Saturday afternoons and knit 🧶 a slouchy Beanie Hat and a pair of Wrist Warmers. Perfect for the cold late autumn 🍂 and winter ❄️ season. The workshop is aimed for the confident beginner who would like to learn something new and step up to the next level.
You will learn how to
knit in the round with circular needles
decrease to shape the crown of the hat with double pointed needles
knit a 2 by 2 rib
divide for the thumb
sew a seam and weave in ends

Harris Tweed Bag Workshop
Join us for a Saturday afternoon to make your very own beautiful Harris Tweed Shopping Bag. The workshop is aimed for the advanced beginner. You should be confident threading a sewing machine and sew in straight and curved lines.
All materials are included.
Harris Tweed fabric, Harris Tweed Label, Cotton lining, PU leather handles and thread.
You will be fuelled with coffee/tea ☕️ and biscuits 🍪 throughout your sewing adventure.

Sock Knitting Class 🧦
Make your own special pair of handmade socks 🧦
This 3week workshop is aimed at people who already know how to cast on, knit and purl. You will be knitting with a set of 5 single pointed needles and we are using 4ply or 8ply sock wool which can be machine washed.
Socks are fun to wear, a fun gift for family or friends and most of all they are fun 🤩 to knit!
😅There will be homework in between the classes😅

Get introduced to a new hobby or improve an existing one. Nici has 25 years of dressmaking and tailoring experience and is happy to teach you and help you with your sewing adventure.

From casting on to knitting, purling and binding off. The creation of something you love to wear by knitting it is joyful. Build your knitting skills over time and add new techniques. This knitting journey will encourage and support your learning while you make new friends along the way. Drop the stress not your stitches. Knit in a fun environment and increase your knitting confidence.
